Announcing the
Icicle Miner Key Yuletide Trilogy

Welcome People
From All Planetary Places and Merry Christmas!
Welcome to the 2025 Wake Up And Smell The Sun holiday musical offering. I'm releasing the Icicle Miner Key Yuletide Trilogy today on the 28th Day of November in the 2025 Year of Our Lord. Today, the release will be on Bandcamp only. This is a special opportunity for people to enjoy the music sooner than later. As it turns out, my music distribution service has sat on my submission to distribute the songs to all the streaming services. It appears the AI bots that they use to screen the files and meta data, and then hassle me about obtuse and illogical issues, have taken the Thanksgiving week off. Bots have employment rights too. So it seems.

As soon as the songs somehow get submitted and activated to Apple Music, Spotify, Youtube Music, etc., I'll announce that and maybe have a separate release/launch for that.

All that said, I now offer three songs, recorded at Miner Street Recording in Philadelphia with Brian McTear and Amy Morrissey on this day we call Black Friday. Black is beautiful and so is Christmas. These songs were written and performed by me, Wake Up And Smell The Sun. The songs are also starring multiple Philadelphia music stalwarts, specifically, Pat Berkery on drums and various bell-shaking tracks, Robbie Bennett on synthesizers and piano madness, and Matt Keppler weaving some beautiful bass guitar all over. I did the singing and the guitar playing handed out tedious direction on the recording and mixes.

About these songs, they are some of my favorites. I hope you enjoy them and have a very special Christmas and Holiday Season wherever you find yourself. For now, today the songs are available on the Bandcamp site, and they are free or you can pay something if you really want to. What I want you to do is to listen to them and enjoy them and to spread the joy.
That is all. Be good to people as best you can. I'm a surly person myself at times, but I can be better. We can be better. We can be...we can be...better.
